If you thought something seemed Phish-y about the conversation between Politico’s Jake Sherman and MSNBC’s Katy Tur on MSNBC on Monday, you’re correct.

When discussing protests at the U.S. Senate regarding pending healthcare legislation, the two political journalists slyly referenced lyrics from the beloved jam band. “It seems like they’re trapped in time and don’t know what to do when it comes to this legislation,” Sherman said, quoting Phish’s “Mike’s Song.”

Tur subsequently referred to “feeling like it’s not so stupendous living in that tube,” which alludes to another cut named “Tube.”

Per Jambase, Tur and Sherman have traded Phish lyrics on air before — three times, to be exact, dating back to March. Watch the latest clip above.
