The ‘90s renaissance in music continues with the upcoming summer release of a new album from En Vogue. The trio, on the map since their groundbreaking 1992 release Funky Divas (which included chart-toppers “Free Your Mind,” “Never Gonna Get It,” and “Giving Him Something He Can Feel”), haven’t put out a new record of original material since 2004’s Soul Flower.

The new album, titled Electric Cafe, will coincide with a full international tour, kicking off this week at the Cape Town International Jazz Festival in South Africa before heading to Europe for the month of April. En Vogue members Cindy Herron-Braggs, Terry Ellis, and Rhona Bennett are then expected to bring the tour stateside this summer.

Billed as one of the top five selling American female music groups in history, En Vogue have sold over 20 million albums worldwide and also amassed over 30 million streams and over 26 million YouTube views of their top six hit singles alone. Last fall, the group teamed up with the surviving members of TLC to play several concert dates.

“Our new release has been a long time coming,” Herron-Braggs said in a statement, “and we can’t wait to share where we are musically today! Hope our fans will enjoy.”
