Beyoncé and Jay Z’s daughter, Blue Ivy, channeled Prince at Sunday’s Grammy Awards, where the toddler dressed up in a ruffled shirt and colorful suit, similar to what the late musician frequently wore during his Purple Rain days.
Blue Ivy’s mom performed with the Purple One at the 2004 Grammys, where she picked up five awards. This year, she’s up for nine trophies, and already won the Best Music Video award for 2016’s “Formation” before the ceremony officially started. She also performed Lemonade cuts “Love Drought” and “Sandcastles” at the show.
Beyoncé previously paid tribute to Prince on her Formation World Tour after his April 2016 death by playing both “Purple Rain” and “The Beautiful Ones” at select shows.
