When someone believes they’ve been chosen by God as humanity’s savior, tensions are bound to flair. The new story trailer for Far Cry 5 — named one of EW’s most highly anticipated games of the year, by the way — sees how this plot unfolds when a doomsday cult starts “saving” the people of the fictional town of Hope County, Montana.

As the head of The Project at Eden’s Gate, Joseph Seed is the guy spewing rhetoric in the trailer. “I have apostles, I help the blind to see, I save souls. But unlike the Chosen One sent before, God will never let you take me,” he says.

The cult goes from stealing land to kidnapping citizens, and now there’s a holy war on your hands. Far Cry 5 puts you in the thick of this mess as you fight to gather rebel forces to oppose Eden’s Gate.

The bloody new footage — complete with tractor fatalities — dropped as Ubisoft announced details for the Far Cry 5 Season Pass, available as an add-on for players or through the Far Cry 5 Gold Edition.

The season pass will include “Hours of Darkness,” which lets players travel back in time to Vietnam to battle against Việt Cộng soldiers; the zombie-filled “Dead Living Zombies”; and “Lost on Mars,” wherein players go to fight Martian arachnids.

In addition, season pass holders for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will be able to access Far Cry 3 Classic Edition four weeks prior to the single-player game’s summer 2018 launch. PC gamers with the season pass will receive the full version of Far Cry 3.

Far Cry 5 will be released for PlayStation 4, Xbonx One, and PC on March 27. Watch the new trailer above.
