Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly are on the run in first Ant-Man and the Wasp trailer

Posted on

With a July 6 release date, Ant-Man and the Wasp may seem like a tiny dot on the horizon compared to the impending Black Panther or even the out-in-May Avengers: Infinity: War. But the summer movie season will be looming soon enough and today Marvel sought to remind fans of the Paul Rudd-starring superhero sequel by debuting its first trailer.

The clip finds Rudd’s thief-turned-hero Scott Lang, Evangeline Lilly’s Hope van Dyne, and Michael Douglas’ Hank Pym apparently on the run from the authorities and dealing with the situation as only those with the capability of shrinking themselves or enlarging, say, a Pez dispenser to gargantuan proportions can.

Ant-Man and the Wasp is directed by Peyton Reed and costars Michael Pena, Walton Goggins, Bobby Cannavale,  Judy Greer, Tip “T.I.” Harris, David Dastmalchian, Hannah John Kamen, Abby Ryder-Fortson, Randall Park, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Laurence Fishburne.
