Lucy Hale plays a deadly game in trailer for new horror film Truth or Dare

Posted on

The new supernatural thriller Truth or Dare (out April 27) stars Lucy Hale from Pretty Little Liars and Tyler Posey from Teen Wolf and finds the film’s characters playing a deadly (and, judging by the movie’s trailer, very brutal) version of the titular game as someone, or something, begins to punish those who tell a lie — or refuse the dare.

And you thought Monopoly could get nasty!

Truth or Dare arrives courtesy of Blumhouse Productions, the company responsible for such recent hits as Get Out, Split, and Happy Death Day. The film is directed Jeff Wadlow (Kick-Ass 2), and co-stars Violett Beane, Nolan Gerard Funk, Hayden Szeto, and Sophia Taylor Ali. Truth or Dare is produced by Blumhouse’s Jason Blum and executive produced by Wadlow.
