Beauty and the Beast ballad, a Sufjan Stevens love song, and a show-stopping circus number are among the tunes on the Oscars shortlist for best original song.

The Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences has unveiled its list of contenders for next year’s original song category, with 70 films making the list. To be eligible, a song must contain both words and music and be specifically written for a film released this year. (The song can either be part of the film or play during the end credits.) The list will eventually be narrowed down to five nominees.

Earlier this year, the Oscar for best original song went to “City of Stars” from La La Land. Benj Pasek and Justin Paul wrote those lyrics, and this year, they’re in the running again with “This Is Me” from The Greatest Showman (in theaters Wednesday).

The 2018 Oscar nominations will be announced Jan. 23, with the awards ceremony scheduled for March 4 at 6:30 p.m. ET.
