You want a film with a vengeful ghost, a mysterious killer, and a family brimming with secrets? Of course you do — and Dementia 13 promises to deliver just that.

Directed by Richard LeMay (Blood Bound) the horror film is described as a “retelling” of 1963’s Dementia 13. That movie is notable for being produced by Roger Corman and directed by Francis Ford Coppola, who would go on to make The GodfatherThe Conversation, and Apocalypse Now before returning to the horror genre with 1992’s Gary Oldman-starring Bram Stoker’s Dracula.

This new Dementia 13 stars Julia Campanelli, Ana Isabelle, Marianne Noscheze, Channing Pickett, and Christian Ryan. The film is written by Dan De Filippo and Justin Smith.

Chiller Films is releasing Dementia 13 in theaters Oct. 6 and on VOD and digital HD on Oct. 10.
