Chucky Blu-ray collection artwork wants YOU for a best friend

7-film Child’s Play set being released Oct. 3

Good news! A possessed, psychopathic doll wants you for a best friend!!!

Okay, so maybe that’s not good news. But it is the message delivered by the just-released artwork for the new Blu-ray box set, Chucky: Complete 7-Movie Collection. The set contains all seven films in the Child’s Play franchise, including the new movie Cult of Chucky, and will be released Oct. 3. Cult of Chucky will also be released separately on unrated Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital, from the same date.

Written and directed by longtime franchise architect Don Mancini, this seventh movie in the Child’s Play series finds Curse of Chucky star Fiona Dourif returning to reprise the role of Nica, who is confined to an asylum for the criminally insane, wrongly convinced that she — not the possessed doll Chucky — murdered her entire family. But when her psychiatrist introduces a new group therapy tool — a “Good Guy” doll — a string of grisly deaths plagues the asylum and Nica starts to wonder if maybe she isn’t crazy after all. Andy (Alex Vincent), Chucky’s now grownup nemesis from the original Child’s Play, races to Nica’s aid. But to save her, he’ll have to get past Tiffany (Jennifer Tilly), Chucky’s long-ago bride, who will do anything, no matter how deadly or depraved, to help her beloved (and, once again, Brad Dourif-voiced) devil doll, who is possessed by the spirit of serial killer, Charles Lee Ray.
