Does director James Gunn have more important things to do than troll an Instagram-user who set up an account in the name of Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige? We’re sure he does. But that didn’t stop the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise overlord having a little fun with “therealkevinfeige” — as the filmmaker revealed today on Facebook.

“The other night some kid pretending to be Kevin Feige, the President of Marvel Studios contacted me on Instagram,” wrote Gunn. “As I was watching a TV show I wasn’t particularly involved [with], and as I have the maturity of a twelve-year-old, I decided to troll him.”

How exactly did he do that? By hinting that the much-loved character of Groot could be decapitated in the opening scene of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3; by stating that Peter Parker is revealed to be the villainous Venom at the end of Spider-Man: Homecoming; and by claiming that comedian Gilbert Gottfried is playing the role of Thanos’ nephew in the upcoming Avengers adventure, Infinity War. (To be honest, we’re really hoping that one’s true.)
