Antonio Banderas is held hostage by a maniac in clip from thriller 'Black Butterfly'

The new thriller Black Butterfly stars Antonio Banderas as a desperate writer named Paul who is trying to start work on a career-saving screenplay at his remote cabin property, outside a mountain town grappling with a series of murderous abductions. After a tense encounter at a diner with a hitchhiker named Jack (Jonathan Rhys Meyers), Paul offers him a place to stay and and soon the edgy, demanding Jack muscles his way into Paul’s work. As a storm cuts off power to the isolated cabin, the two men begin a game of one-upmanship that will bring at least one tale to an end.

Black Butterfly is directed by Brian Goodman and written by Justin Stanley and Marc Frydman. The film costars Piper Perabo. Black Butterfly is released in theaters and On Demand, May 26.
