Actor Chase Williamson has racked up an impressive array of genre credits over the past few years, including John Dies at the End, The Guest, Beyond the Gates, and the V/H/S spin-off movie, SiREN. Now, EW can exclusively reveal he is starring in a new film currently being shot in Los Angeles called Greenlight. Directed by Graham Denman, this horror-thriller concerns a young, starving artist who, after being offered the opportunity of a lifetime, must decide if he’s willing to bleed for his art when he learns that his new gig is a cover-up for a crime of passion.
Greenlight costars Shane Coffey (Starry Eyes), Caroline Williams (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2), and Chris Browning (Sons of Anarchy), as well as Evanne Friedmann, Nicole Shipley, and Victor Turpin. The script is by Patrick R. Young and Eric England, the director of 2013’s Contracted and the upcoming Huntsville. The film is produced by England and Rudy Scalese.
Greenlight is the first film from TalkStory, a new production and financing company focused on first-time and emerging filmmakers. TalkStory is founded by England and partners Greg Blunden and Phil Malaspina.
