If you could do absolutely anything you wanted, what would you choose? That’s the premise for Terry Jones’ upcoming comedy, Absolutely Anything, starring Simon Pegg as Neil Clarke, a man who uses his newfound power for selfish aims — like having his clothes dress him and improving his body. And also raising the dead.
The film features Kate Beckinsale and Eddie Izzard, along with Jones’ Monty Python collaborators John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle and Michael Palin as the aliens who gift Clarke with his special abilities. The late Robin Williams also appears in one of his final roles as the voice of Clarke’s dog, who gains the power to speak, thanks to his master’s unusual powers.
Absolutely Anything is currently set to be released on Aug. 14 in the U.K. Watch the trailer for the comedy above.
