Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, and Catherine Middleton (April 29)
''I would give that a B+. I thought it was wonderful. I thought fashion was an A, but overall I thought B+. I was hoping they wouldn't be as safe as they were, but I understand why they were. I was, of course, glued to the television. They did a really good job. I love the energy between the two of them, which is always so important. I really loved the two kisses. I loved the protocol of how she arrived versus how she departed — that was one thing that they broke tradition on. I just wished they stepped a little farther outside the box on other things. We don't know what that wedding looked like inside. We know what we were supposed to see, which was the processional, recessional, ceremony, and vows, but we really don't know too much about the parties. That's where I sort of wish I could have [given it] an A+ — if they let us have a little bit more of a peek into modern-day times. I feel like we were left still out as if it were 100 years ago.''

Kris Humphries and Kim Kardashian (August 20)
''F. I'm appalled and disgusted about everything that they did. I don't care how beautiful it was, I think it was unfortunately a very well-calculated business agreement. And it demoralized the sanctuary of marriage. So, as far as I'm concerned, no matter how beautiful it was — and it was — I give it an F. I also feel like black and white is great, but there were things done — by whoever chose to do them — that were a little dated. I felt it was a little dated. And that stupid thing on her head, I hated. I hated it! That diamond trinket thing, I wanted to strangle her with it.''

Edward (Robert Pattinson) and Bella (Kristen Stewart), Breaking Dawn
''It was ridiculously gorgeous. I would give that an A-. I thought it was stunning. I know it's a movie, it's not real, but if you're going to spend money on a wedding, there's one to copy.''

Lillian (Maya Rudolph) and Doug (Tim Heidecker), Bridesmaids
''Stupidly tacky. No one's going to get an F but Kim Kardashian, so I'll give this one a D. It was tacky from the dress and the floating on the water and the fireworks. Wilson Phillips... I mean, it was really tacky.''

Sabrina (Paula Patton) and Jason (Laz Alonso), Jumping the Broom
''C. Sort of safe and boring. Nothing here stands out. It's a pretty ugly ceremony structure. This whole thing looks very dated. I can't stand the swag draping of step-down aisles. It's so yesterday. Getting rid of that would have given it an increase in grade. The structure over the pastor is also super-old and dated. Nothing stands out. I like the fashion, though. I love the way he looks.''

Chuck (Zach Levi) and Sarah (Yvonne Strahovski), Chuck
''Her dress I would give a B. That's all I can comment on [because I don't watch].''

April (Aubry Plaza) and Andy (Chris Pratt), Parks and Recreation
''That's a D. I mean, he's wearing a football jersey. Really?''

Callie (Sara Ramirez) and Arizona (Jessica Capshaw), Grey's Anatomy
''I would give this a B+, maybe an A-. I've done lesbian weddings, and I think that everyone's thinks one of them is supposed to wear a man's outfit, which is so odd. Yes, when Portia and Ellen got married, Ellen wore a pretty suit, and Portia had the gown on. But just because it's two women... I think they should both wear dresses if they want to wear dresses.''

Clark (Tom Welling) and Lois (Erika Durance), Smallville
''I didn't even know Smallville was still on television. But the wedding is basic. I don't like the suit, and her dress is not that pretty. I'd say C.''

DAVID'S PICK FOR STAND-OUT WEDDING New Orleans Hornet Chris Paul and Jada Crawley
''We did the wedding in North Carolina in September, and it was pretty spectacular. It was in Essence magazine. It was stunning. Robin Thicke performed. I hired him to do the ceremony. BeBe and CeCe Winans performed. MC Lyte was the DJ. It was opulent and grand but still warm with heart. The ceremony was in a tent on a golf course. 350 people. All white, baby grand piano. The party was purples and corals and oranges and creams and taupes. It was just regal — gorgeous lids, custom ceiling drapery, custom dance floor, gold furniture...it was beautiful. It was a pretty amazing wedding.''
