When He Kept It Real On Objectification
Pratt famously beefed up for his big-screen roles in Guardians of the Galaxy and Jurassic World, and garnered very different attention that he did in the height of his Andy Dwyer days. "It was a huge part of how my career has shifted is based on the way that I look, on the way that I’ve shaped my body to look," he said in a June interview with Radio 4's Front Row. He went on to add, "But I think it's OK. I don’t feel appalled by it. I think it’s appalling that for a long time only women were objectified, but I think if we really want to really advocate for equality, it's important to not objectify women less, but objectify men as often as we objectify women."

Because his Hollywood success wasn't enough, Pratt took on another arena in April. He competed in a 70.3-mile half-Ironman and completed the rigorous course. "Mike Day's story is just so incredible," Pratt said in an interview with the Ironman organization. "I'm very close to [Navy SEAL] Jared [Shaw] who was on the op with Mike when he was hurt. I figured if a guy who's been shot 27 times can tough this race out I had no excuse."

When He Had All The Answers
Pratt participated in a Reddit AMA session in April, and offered up some gems in the process. He got sentimental, saying of his wife Faris, "Anna and I are meant to be together. Our relationship has made me believe in divine intervention and destiny, just as much as my crazy career and the way I fell into this life... Anna is a great wife. Very patient and understanding. Very supportive. So kind and genuine always. And she gave me a wonderful son and family of in laws that I truly love." Pratt also had some fun, answering a question about the contents of his perfect sandwich by writing, "Two slices of white bread, mustard, mayo and a platinum American Express card," and responding to a question that read "I was recently bitten by a radioactive Chris Pratt. What is about to happen to me?" by quipping, "Oh no. You're probably gonna get fat and then skinny."
