Mumford & Sons
''After the Storm''
''I f---ing love Mumford & Sons. This song is so beautiful, it kind of makes me cry and smile at the same time. Sigh No More was [my ex's and my] record. We blossomed to that record and we died to that record. Whenever I put it on, I want to write about my ex. I don't think my album would be here yet if it hadn't been for that record. I'd still be home drunk in the dark moping around my flat. [Laughs]''

(Feat. Rihanna) ''Fly''
''It's a proper feel-good song. Whenever I'm feeling a bit sorry for myself, or a bit doubting myself, I put it on. It makes me feel positive.''

''All These Things That I've Done''
''When I was 16, it was sort of the soundtrack to my life. It gives me chills. And I've been listening to it a lot recently. Again, the lyrics are kind of similar to the Mumford ones; they make me really, really brave.''

(Feat. Drake) ''What's My Name?''
''Over New Year's and Christmas, I had time off and I went to all my friends' parties singing it. Doing the dance moves, I was convinced I was Rihanna. She was possessing me with that song, I swear.''

(Feat. Bon Iver) ''Lost in the World''
''It's Bon Iver's 'Lost in the Woods' that starts it, and then Kanye comes in. It's my favorite Bon Iver song, and then Kanye's one of my favorite artists as well. So when Kanye comes in, I find it so exciting. It's a bit of a masterpiece. I know he always says that and everybody's a bit like, 'Oh, shut up!' But it is a bit of a masterpiece.''

''I'm going to cover that for the American tour, actually. It's very relevant in my life right now. [Laughs]''

''Never Tear Us Apart''
''It's my favorite song ever. First song I learned to play. I was going to do it [on 21]. We did it, and I was gutted because my vocal was so unconvincing. I'm not as tuned in with that song as I always felt I was. I still play it to myself.''

''The Cure are one of my favorite bands. 'Lovesong' wasn't one of my favorite favorites before [recording it for 21]. 'Friday I'm In Love' is my favorite. It was Smokey Hormel, the guitarist, who suggested 'Love Song.' He rearranged it for Barbra Streisand, but she never got 'round to doing it. They played it for me and I loved it. Right at that moment, it was absolutely perfect. It ended up being a real moment.''
