David Spade will perform a memoir that focuses on his experiences with aging in a new project for Audible, EW has learned exclusively.

The comic audio-original production A Polaroid Guy in a Snapchat World finds Spade reflecting on then and now, navigating fame, dating, social media, and dealing with a friend from high school who has become his full-time plus-one. There will be no print counterpart, as the idea of the memoir is to hear Spade tell his stories and muse on what it feels like to be getting older.

“I’m really looking forward to working with Audible on this because I get to perform my stories and try to make them come to life (even though I’m dead inside),” Spade said in a statement. “I’ve realized as I’m getting older, that I’m more and more out of it in every way so, this audio project seemed to sum this all up perfectly.”

Spade is preparing for another nationwide stand-up tour this month. He most recently appeared in The Mayor, ABC’s short-lived new sitcom, as well as the Netflix series Love and Lady Dynamite. He remains best known for his long-running stint as a Saturday Night Live cast member, for which he received three Emmy nominations, and his Golden Globe-nominated turn in the sitcom Just Shoot Me!.

A Polaroid Guy in a Snapchat World will premiere exclusively on Audible later this year.
