Marie Lu’s latest book, Warcross, may touch upon the digital world of video games, but her fans will definitely be able to meet her in the real one. EW can exclusively reveal that the best-selling author (and one of EW’s 27 female authors who are ruling science fiction and fantasy right now) will be embarking on a country-wide tour this September. See the full list of tour dates below.

Titled Warcross, Lu’s latest YA novel — for which you can read an exclusive excerpt here — tells the story of teenage hacker Emika Chen who works as a bounty hunter within the titular video game, tracking down players who bet on the game illegally. However, when she accidentally hacks herself into the International Warcross Championships, she becomes an overnight sensation and receives a call from Hideo Tanaka, the game’s elusive creator. Turns out, the young billionaire wants to hire her as a spy to root out a security problem within the current tournament. Only as Emika eventually discovers upon landing in Tokyo, there’s a sinister plot at work that could have ramifications for the entire game.

Warcross hits bookstores on Sept. 12. Check out the tour dates and Lu’s exclusive drawings of both Emika and Hideo below!
