Dan Brown's latest Robert Langdon novel Origin: See the cover

And watch a trailer to see its setting

Posted on

Robert Langdon is back for another adventure in Dan Brown’s Origin.

And this time the Harvard symbologist is traveling to brand new settings in Spain — as teased by the trailer above — where he’ll be working to solve a mystery that involves two of humanity’s biggest questions: Where do we come from? Where are we going?

Much like in his previous books featuring the character (Angels & DemonsThe Da Vinci CodeThe Lost Symbol, and Inferno), Brown will incorporate codes, symbols, history, and architecture, while touching upon themes in science, religion, and art. Only Origin offers a new twist: the art he’ll be featuring will be modern, and the science will focus on cutting-edge technology.

EW can exclusively reveal the cover of Origin (below).

Doubleday

The book marks Langdon’s fifth adventure overall, with Tom Hanks having played the Mickey Mouse watch-wearing professor in three movies, the latest being 2016’s Inferno.

Origin hits bookshelves Oct. 3. You can preorder it here.
