Each week leading up to the publication of David Sedaris’s Theft By Finding — a compilation of the satirist’s diary entries from 1977 to 2002 — EW will reveal an exclusive clip of Sedaris reading from the audiobook.

This week’s clip features the author musing about fallen figure skater Tonya Harding in 1994. “With her fierce makeup,” Sedaris writes, “she looks like a child’s drawing of an angry babysitter.”

Listen to the full clip below. Theft By Finding hits shelves — and your preferred place to listen to audiobooks — on May 30.
