Ever wish there were a series books — written in the style of retro kid lit — that would teach you how to be an adult? Turns out, that exists: Let us introduce you to The Fireside Grown-Up Guides, slim parodies of children’s books on adult subjects like The Hangover, The Husband, The Mom, and Mindfulness. The former are available now. (Forthcoming: The Hipster, The Cat, The Meeting, and The Mid-Life Crisis.)

Comedian and actor Andy Richter has lent his voice to the Fireside audiobooks, giving them another layer of humor. Check out EW’s clips from The Hangover, below:
