On Tuesday, Nicki Minaj released her new mobile game, Nicki Minaj: The Empire, to the iTunes store. The app was then released to Google Play on Wednesday.

The game is similar to Kim Kardashian: Hollywood in that the main goal is for users to create a character that climbs the ranks in the hopes of taking their career all the way to the top. But Minaj’s app focuses on rap music and even allows players to create their own music and record it within the app.

“The first time I played it and recorded a rap, I felt like a kid on Christmas,” the rapper says in a behind-the-scenes video. “It’s simple and it’s fun and it’s a way to interact with other people–maybe up-and-coming artists.”

The Empire also features a brand new song, “Ain’t Gone Do It,” in which Minaj sings the first verse and opens up the rest of the song to users’ own recordings. “My fans get a chance to put their rap on a beat with me and finish a song with me and that’s pretty insane,” she explained.

In addition, Minaj has also promised to award players with the highest scores in the game with concert tickets.

“It’s something that I would’ve loved to have when I was starting to rap. It’s something that will definitely build your skills and get you heard by a lot of people,” she said.
