Dashboard Confessional are hitting the road again in January with a two-month U.S. tour, stopping in major cities like New York, Detroit, Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Dallas, Houston, and New Orleans.

The run comes more than six months after the band released “May,” their first song since 2009’s Alter the Ending. Though they haven’t announced a new album yet, frontman Chris Carrabba revealed last year that a forthcoming collection was in the works

Then, in May 2016, while preparing for the Taste of Chaos tour with Taking Back Sunday, Carrabba detailed some new music: “I don’t have any idea of a release date or a worry about one for that matter,” he told EW in an interview. “But I’m really excited to be doing it because I don’t think it’s ever felt this much like the beginning again.”
