Before he was the host of The Tonight Show, and even before he was a Saturday Night Live cast member, Jimmy Fallon was an actor looking for work.
The performer, now 42-years old, shared a glimpse into the early years of his career through a picture on Twitter, seen below. “My first headshot. 1992,” wrote Fallon, citing the shot as his Throwback Thursday. The then 18-year old entertainment hopeful sported a polo shirt and handsome hairdo in the pic.
Looking back on the actor’s career since that 1992 photoshoot, Fallon gained a coveted spot on NBC’s sketch comedy show in 1998, which he held for six years alongside many other comedy icons, including Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Will Ferrell, Maya Rudolph, and fellow late night host, Seth Meyers.
Between his end on SNL and his hosting gig on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, the actor starred in several films, notably Fever Pitch costarring Drew Barrymore. In 2014, Fallon became the sixth host of the long-running The Tonight Show, which he has hosted to this day.
