Has Killer Frost been subdued for good on The Flash?
During Tuesday’s episode, Barry (Grant Gustin) was able to quell Caitlin’s (Danielle Panabaker) Killer Frost side by appealing to her humanity. Even though Caitlin now has on the power dampening cuffs, that doesn’t mean her powers won’t return in the future — especially since Savitar’s acolyte inferred she’d be very powerful in the future.
Thus, the flash that Cisco (Carlos Valdes) had of his future self fighting Killer Frost could still come true down the line. But the question remains: Who’s the actual villain in that scene?
While it seems more likely that Caitlin has gone full-on evil, especially as she hurls icicles while sporting white hair like her Earth-2 doppelgänger, Caitlin could feasibly have control of her powers in the future and simply be defending herself. After all, she’s not the only one with an evil contemporary. Earth-2’s version of Cisco was the villain known as Reverb, so could it be possible that Cisco is actually the villain of that flash forward?
“I love that,” Panabaker tells EW of the theory. “I think that’s what’s so cool about our show is that there are so many opportunities for change and growth. You never know what could happen.”
Who do you think is the villain in that scene: Caitlin or Cisco? Vote in our poll and then weigh in below.
