ABC is not moving forward with the Hayley Atwell-starring legal drama Conviction.
EW has learned the network will produce and air the 13 episodes initially ordered, but will not produce additional episodes. The sixth episode is scheduled to air Monday at 10 p.m., but it remains to be seen if the show will remain in its current time slot.
Created by Liz Friedman and Liz Friedlander, Conviction stars Atwell as Hayes Morrison, an attorney and former first daughter who is blackmailed into joining the newly created Conviction Integrity Unit in Los Angeles. The show debuted Oct. 3 to a disappointing 5.4 million viewers and a 1.0 rating in the demo.
