And so is Triumph, the Insult Comic Dog

David Scott Holloway/TruTV

Your daily guide to the most interesting stuff happening on TV and streaming. All times Eastern.

Rachel Dratch’s Late Night Snack

TruTV, 10:30 p.m.

The SNL alum’s latest series mainly consists of short comedy sketches from a range of up-and-comers, but Dratch herself is the glue holding it all together. Her solo characters include a strange soccer mom and a “throwback woman” who wears one of those actual fox-mink shawls with the heads still on it.

Stan Against Evil

IFC, 10 p.m.

Easy, offbeat comedies are IFC’s specialty, and the latest will probably please the network’s growing fanbase. Stan Against Evil is more or less a direct send-up of the comedy-horror series Ash vs Evil Dead, with John C. McGinley (Scrubs) starring as a Bruce Campbell-ian demon-fighter with a smart mouth.

Triumph’s Election Watch 2016: The Home Stretch

Hulu, streaming

If you haven’t been paying attention to all the latest twists and turns in the presidential race, let a foul-mouthed dog-puppet catch you in this political special.
