HBO released titles for the next four episodes of Westworld on Tuesday, offering a vague glimpse at what lies ahead as season 1 closes in on its finale.
Sunday’s episode is called “The Adversary”: “Maeve (Thandie Newton) charms Lutz (Leonardo Nam); Elsie (Shannon Woodward) uncovers possible sabotage; the Man in Black (Ed Harris) and Teddy (James Marsden) run afoul of a garrison.”
Here’s the rundown for the Nov. 13 episode, “Trompe L’Oeil”: “Dolores (Evan Rachel Wood) and William (Jimmi Simpson) journey into treacherous terrain; Maeve (Thandie Newton) delivers an ultimatum; Bernard (Jeffrey Wright) considers his next move.”
The Nov. 20 episode has the title “Trace Decay.” In it: “Bernard (Jeffrey Wright) struggles with a mandate; Maeve (Thandie Newton) looks to change her script; Teddy (James Marsden) is jarred by dark memories.”
And on Nov. 27, “The Well-Tempered Clavier” (directed by Breaking Bad fave Michelle MacLaren) will air: “Dolores (Evan Rachel Wood) and Bernard (Jeffrey Wright) reconnect with their pasts; Maeve (Thandie Newton) makes a bold proposition to Hector (Rodrigo Santoro); Teddy (James Marsden) finds enlightenment, at a price.”
The 10-episode first season of Westworld will conclude its run in December. New episodes air Sundays at 9 p.m. on HBO.
