The Color Purple will close on Broadway in January, the show announced.

The musical will play its final performance on Jan. 8, and will launch a national tour in fall 2017. Danielle Brooks (Sofia) and Isaiah Johnson (Mister) will leave the show on Nov. 13. On Nov. 15, Carrie Compere, who is currently in the company and is Brooks’ understudy, will take over the role, and cast member Nathaniel Stampley will step into the role of Mister.

The current cast also includes Jennifer Holliday. The Color Purple won a 2016 Tony for Best Revival of a Musical, and Cynthia Erivo won the Tony for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role in a Musical. EW’s A review of the show called it “emotionally rich and visually striking” and praising the “three gorgeous star performances.”
