Rachel Bloom Performs Live, Uncensored 'JAP Battle' from 'Crazy Ex-Girlfriend'

Rebecca Bunch and Audra Levine brought their Jewish American Princess battle to EW PopFest.

On Saturday in Los Angeles, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend star Rachel Bloom and actress Rachel Grate performed a live, uncensored version of “JAP Battle,” the rap battle from season 1 of the cult CW series.

“We always we knew we wanted them to do, dare I say, a Hamilton-style rap battle,” Bloom told EW Radio earlier this year of the song, which pits her character against a hometown rival. The rap was written by Zach Sherwin, with a chorus from the show’s executive music producer Adam Schlesinger.
