Not today, Satan — but, December? That’s another story.
Logo announced on Thursday it will air a two-part comedy special starring RuPaul’s Drag Race champion Bianca Del Rio.
Not Today Bianca, which will air this December in two half-hour parts, follows Del Rio as she attempts to make it big in Hollywood. In the first installment, Del Rio attempts to get a late night booking on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live, while she learns the true meaning of the holidays in the follow-up.
Emmy-winning host of Drag Race, RuPaul, will guest-star on the special, as will Kristen Johnston, Tori Spelling, Michelle Visage, Ross Matthews, Charo, Marissa Jaret Winkour, Rightor Doyle, Coco Peru, and The Mindy Project‘s Fortune Feimster.
“When Logo offered me my own comedy special, I said, ‘Let’s make it a double,’” Del Rio said via press statement. “Partnering with World of Wonder, the twisted minds behind RuPaul’s Drag Race, we mixed our favorite ‘90s movies, a splash of Broad City and topped if off with a pint of cheap vodka. The results are two off-the-wall episodes of Not Today Bianca that are based on my own sad and hilarious life since moving to Los Angeles.”
Since winning the sixth season of RuPaul’s Drag Race in 2014, Del Rio has traveled the world performing well-received routines on several stand-up tours, including the current Not Today Satan Comedy Show, which concludes in San Antonio, Texas, on Nov. 9.
In addition to her career as a stand-up comedian and reality television star, Del Rio (real name Roy Haylock) headlined her first feature film, the crowd-funded Hurricane Bianca, which was released Sept. 23 on VOD and co-stars Rachel Dratch, Margaret Cho, RuPaul, and Alan Cumming.
