As this current election season slowly draws to a close it’s been no big surprise to see celebrities releasing everything from PSA videos encouraging the public to vote to songs protesting Donald Trump.
But there’s one musician who probably won’t be joining in: Frank Ocean.
As the elusive singer noted in a C-SPAN interview—his first in almost three years—at the White House State Dinner for the Italian Prime Minister, he’ll “probably not” be doing concerts to drum up support for Hillary Clinton any time soon.
“We’re running out of time,” said Ocean of the time he has left if he were to do something to show his support. He then added, “Might have to catch her in four years.”
One of the bigger surprises of the interview came early one, when reporters noted that the “Nikes” singer, who was accompanied at the event by his mother Katonya Breaux, had worn black and white checkered Vans to the dinner.
