Gwen Stefani had the honor of performing at President Obama‘s final State Dinner on Tuesday, and she shared the special moment with her boyfriend Blake Shelton.

Stefani, whose father is of Italian descent, was the musical entertainment at the Italy state dinner on the South Lawn where she sang her hits like “Sweet Escape” in front of a star-studded audience that included Vice President Joe Biden, Giorgio Armani, Rachael Ray, James Taylor and Frank Ocean.

During her set, the 47-year-old pop star, who wore a plunging black gown with white floral applique, invited Shelton, 40, on stage to belt out their duet, “Go Ahead and Break My Heart,” as the country crooner strummed his guitar.

The couple, who began dating in November 2015, were seated at the same table, though they were placed at opposite ends. After they feasted on Mario Batali’s dishes, Stefani and Shelton were spotted chatting with Sandra Lee and her boyfriend, New York governor Andrew Cuomo.

Earlier in the day, Stefani visited the White House with her three sons – Kingston, 10, Zuma, 8, and Apollo, 2 – for a photo op with Italy’s Prime Minister Matteo Renzi and his wife Agnese Landini as well as with POTUS and First Lady Michelle Obama.
