Donald Trump: SNL, Alec Baldwin slammed for debate sketch

NBC

Donald Trump is not a fan of Alec Baldwin’s Saturday Night Live impression.

The Republican presidential candidate slammed the show for its Saturday night sketch spoofing Trump and the second presidential debate.

“Watched Saturday Night Live hit job on me. Time to retire the boring and unfunny show. Alec Baldwin portrayal stinks. Media rigging election!” Trump wrote on Twitter.

On Saturday, SNL mocked the battle between Trump and Hillary Clinton, which birthed pop culture memes like Trump stalking Clinton around the stage and the rise and fall of Ken Bone.

Once again starring cast member Kate McKinnon as Clinton and Baldwin as Trump, the SNL debate imagined a world where Clinton was so confident in her pending victory on Nov. 8 that she thanked Trump for giving her the election because of his many controversies. Baldwin’s Trump, meanwhile, continued a string of inappropriate remarks about people of color and women.

The cold open also took aim at Trump walking into Clinton’s space, scoring the moment with the theme from Jaws. (Trump, of course, has denied he was moving into Clinton’s space, and accused her of doing it to him.)

Even Bone, made an appearance, played by Bobby Moynihan.
