Michael Che and Colin Jost brought a little Weekend Update charm to Watch What Happens Live following the second presidential debate Sunday night. The Saturday Night Live stars watched the proceedings with host Andy Cohen and shared their commentary afterwards as cardboard cutouts of Alec Baldwin as Donald Trump and Kate McKinnon as Hillary Clinton looked on from behind the bar.

After comments on Melania Trump’s Gucci “Pussy Bow” top and Clinton’s outfit, the trio discussed the Republican nominee’s effectiveness at creating unforgettable soundbites.

“He’s good at generating soundbites. He says a phrase over and over so you remember it,” Jost said. “You don’t remember a single response of Hillary’s…. Even though [the Abraham Lincoln reference] was a good answer from her, you only remember him going, ‘Honest Abe: You couldn’t be farther from that.”

“He’s the guy that puts his name on all the buildings. He leaves you something to remember. He understands branding; Hillary doesn’t,” Che added.

When the crew started talking about Trump’s body language, the SNL in them finally began to shine through.

“I’m so excited for Alec Baldwin,” Jost said. “The way [Trump] was just hovering and lurking — he can’t stand still for a second.”
