Stevie Nicks and James Corden improvise a song about the clown craze

No one has quite figured out what’s going on with all the clowns that keep popping up everywhere, so James Corden decided to a little investigating with his guests on Thursday night’s Late Late Show.

Taylor Lautner has been terrified of clowns since he was a kid, as evidenced by a photo of little Lautner freaking out next to one. Stevie Nicks, too, said she’d be scared if she randomly ran into a clown in the wild. Zach Galifianakis, who plays a rodeo clown on FX’s Baskets, seemed unfazed, and hinted that he may be in on the clown conspiracy.

“Right now we’re just scouting out L.A. to see if we want to attack it,” Galifianakis said.

Corden then asked Reggie Watts for his clown thoughts. Watts hadn’t heard of the recent clown craze, but proclaimed that he was “down with the clowns.” That rhyme was all Nicks needed. She repeated it a few times and made air-keyboard motions with her fingers, before improvising a quick little ditty with Corden and Watts: “Clowns in the towns, walking around, and you’re down with that clown.”
