When you think of a game called Celebrity Shuffleboard, you might think it’s going to be celebrities playing shuffleboard. While that was the case with Kat Dennings and Ellen DeGeneres, the talk-show host took it one step further on her show for Friday’s episode: she used actual celebrities as pucks.

DeGeneres brought out OneRepublic lead singer Ryan Tedder to be her human play piece, while Rosewood star Morris Chestnut competed for Team Dennings.

The latter pair were already at a disadvantage due to the pitcher’s high-heeled footwear, but Chestnut made up for it by wheeling himself down for a higher score. The second round, on the other hand, turned into a mini-game of bumper cars.
