Almost five months after the season 2 finale of Stitchers, Freeform has given the greenlight for season 3.
On Thursday, the season 3 pickup for the science fiction series was announced via a Facebook Live on the official Stitchers page.
“Stitchers’ passionate fanbase has been vocal about wanting to see more of this show, and we listened,” said Karey Burke, an executive vice president at Freeform, in a statement. “Stitchers has proven itself a consistently strong performer, and we’re proud of the fact that it celebrates #smartgirls everywhere.”
The series centers on Kirsten (Emma Ishta), a tech wiz who is recruited by a covert government agency to help investigate mysterious deaths. Kirsten’s job description is far from normal, as she is “stitched” into the memories of murder victims to help solve the cases.
Stitchers also stars Kyle Harris, Ritesh Rajan, Salli Richardson-Whitfield, Allison Scagliotti, and Damon Dayoub.
