Britney Spears decided to cover one of Taylor Swift’s biggest hits — on helium.

The pop star appeared on The Jonathan Ross Show for this weekend and competed in several silly contests with the titular host. After she was defeated by Ross in Forfeit Tennis, Spears had to step up to a helium-filled balloon, inhale, and perform a song.

“You can sing one of your own, you can sing a popular song — something we all now,” Ross instructed.

After puckering up and taking in an adequate amount of the noble gas, Spears squeaked out a few bars from the chorus of Swift’s “Shake It Off.”

Last month, Spears released her ninth studio album, Glory.
