PICK OF THE NIGHT

The Good Place

NBC, 8:30 p.m.

This Is Us isn’t the only new NBC series that loves a good twist! Tonight’s episode, titled “Jason Mendoza,” explores the unexpected turn of events from last week’s cliffhanger — that Eleanor Shellstrop might not be the only “bad” person in the good place.

DIAMOND DRAMA

Pitch

Fox, 9 p.m.

Ginny is haunted by a sexist comment made years ago by her team’s manager. And just wait until you see his Twitter rant about the all-female Ghostbusters movie!

STAY IN SCHOOL

How to Get Away With Murder

ABC, 10 p.m.

Professor Annalise Keating fights the Middleton University board to keep her job. It has nothing to do with all the murdering or anything — she just keeps forgetting to pay for her campus parking pass.

POLICE PATROL

The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon

NBC, 11:35 p.m.

Jimmy Fallon brings on as his main guest none other than Sting. Bring some popcorn — given what we know about him, this could go all night long. (Oh, and by the way, Kate McKinnon is Fallon’s other guest.)
