Yes, season 3 will include a female-driven Hamilton episode starring Alia Hawkat and Aubrey Plaza and narrated by Lin-Manuel Miranda. But! That will come later. Tonight’s premiere is themed “Great Escapes” and the tales include Timothy Leary’s prison breakout and one passenger’s escape from the sinking Titanic. New Girl

Think you can escape the campaign season for one night by watching a sitcom instead of a political debate? Wrong! Tonight’s election-themed New Girl finds Jess and Cece jumping on the campaign trail after betting Schmidt that they can help recruit voters for the upcoming presidential election. I assume they’re with Hillary, but you’ll just have to watch to confirm my hunch.
