Scream Queens: John Stamos answers shower scene question

It finally happened: the steamy John Stamos shower scene in Scream Queens went down.

The former Full House star, who plays Dr. Brock Holt on the Fox series, shared the locker room moment with Chad Radwell (played by Glen Powell) during Tuesday night’s episode. One Twitter user posed it seemed like an awkward scene to share with Powell, but Stamos says Powell salvaged it.

“Well yeah, it could have been awkward. It was pretty awkward, but Glen is so damn funny. I at least wore a G-string or something, but he wore a very tiny… a medium-sized sock,” Stamos said. “We laughed a whole lot. We did a lot of pushups; he likes to do pushups. He likes a lot of oil, there’s a lot of oiling up. I swear we ran out of oil on that scene.”

Stamos later joked on Twitter Tuesday night his and Powell’s “wieners just touched, accidentally” alongside a naked pic of the two standing side by side, self-censoring themselves with a Dick’s Sporting Goods sign.

Stamos caught attention by teasing the scene in early August, describing the day on set as “dirty.” In speaking to EW about it last month, the actor said doing the intimate scene in front of a big cast and crew wasn’t all that bad — and was overdue. “Well, it’s about time, because you know it’s the girls all the time,” he said, “so let’s put the guys to work.”

Scream Queens airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET on Fox.
