By now, perhaps the warm shock of the twist at the end of the This Is Us premiere has worn off, and your thoughts have turned to: So what happens now? Well, for starters, you can get a first look at the opening scene of episode 2 right here.
The NBC family dramedy that didn’t start out like one (see: that first sentence) welcomes you back with a breakfast scene featuring the parents, a mustachioed Jack (Milo Ventimiglia) and Rebecca (Mandy Moore), as well as the eight-year-old versions of their children, Randall (Sterling K. Brown), Kate (Chrissy Metz), and Kevin (Justin Hartley), whom we met as adults in the pilot. There’s some interesting tension between the couple, and some micromanaging of Kate’s diet.
