WARNING: The following contains spoilers from season 2 of Quantico. Read at your own risk!
Quantico‘s second season doesn’t look much like its first. The cast has changed, the setting’s changed (in the present timeline, anyway), and even the title card flashed a punny “Quan2co” instead of the show’s actual name.
But perhaps the biggest twist of the premiere belongs to the premise itself. As it turns out, Alex isn’t working for the CIA at all — she’s actually working undercover for the FBI. At the CIA’s training facility, Alex and Ryan are both carrying out a mission to weed out potential rogue agents, believed to be recruited by head instructor Owen Hall (Blair Underwood).
Was that development, along with the addition of a new cast of recruits and a new terrorist plot in the easier-to-follow future, enough to keep you invested in the drama’s reinvented second season? Share your thoughts in our poll below and leave a comment.
