Get ready to Ride with Norman Reedus again.
AMC has renewed its non-fiction travel series starring The Walking Dead actor for a second season, which will consist of six one-hour episodes.
Season 1 of the show saw Reedus — who is quite the motorcycle enthusiast — travel around America and sample local cultures, doing everything from visiting a moonshine distillery to racing porta-potties. He was joined by a bevy of guests, including filmmaker Robert Rodriguez, actor Balthazar Getty, and Mastodon singer-guitarist Brent Hinds.
As it happens, the show isn’t just a chance for Reedus to pursue his love of travel. The season finale of his first season offered the actor the opportunity to hit the open road alongside none other than Peter Fonda, whose film Easy Rider was actually what inspired him to take up riding motorcycles.
“I am glad to be able to show audiences a different side of me and we have gotten a great response to the candid conversation and the fact that it’s obviously not scripted,” says Reedus. “I feel like we are just getting started and there are so many amazing places we have yet to go — the opportunities for the show are endless.”
