Lenny Kravitz on Better Things: First look

Posted on

Nicole Wilder-Shattuck/FX

It’s been six years since we’ve seen Lenny Kravitz in a scripted TV series, and tonight’s the night — the “Fly Away” singer will appear on episode 3 of Pamela Adlon’s Better Things.

Louis C.K. wrote the episode, “Brown,” and Kravitz guest stars as Mel, a film director working on a project with Sam (Adlon). She invites him over for dinner with her chaotic family, and needless to say, the meal turns… very, very awkward.

Tune in to FX tonight at 10 p.m. to watch it all go down, and be sure to check out our recap from Celia Imrie (who plays Adlon’s mother, Phil) tomorrow in EW’s Better Things blog.
