ORIGINAL STORY: Green Day have postponed the three opening dates on their upcoming tour and canceled another due to illness, the band announced Sunday.
“We’re so sad to announce we have to postpone three shows and cancel Toronto,” they said in a statement. “Many of us have been battling this infection for days on end to be ready, and it just got the best of us.”
The postponed dates include stops in St. Louis, Chicago, and Detroit. They will make up those dates if their schedule allows, though they will not be rescheduling their Toronto show, which was supposed to take place at the World Cup of Hockey Fan Village.
Green Day’s upcoming twelfth studio album, Revolution Radio, is set to debut Oct. 7, and the title track came out earlier this month. See the list of postponed and canceled shows below, and check out the full list of tour dates over at their website.
