Our long national nightmare is over: The theme for the new season of American Horror Story was finally revealed on Wednesday night … and we have opinions.

In this new episode of EW’s What to Watch podcast, EW editors Amy Wilkinson and Ray Rahman theorize about what those creepy wooden figures mean and question which direction the show is headed. Also, is Chaz Bono’s character actually on the side of good or evil? Ray seems to have an idea.

We also break down the biggest TV news of the week, from the recent additions to the Saturday Night Live cast and crew to who’s now going to play President Obama on the sketch comedy series. Also, Amy tries to coin the phrase “auteur to streaming” with the announcement that Spike Lee is among the recent wave of directors bringing his work to the small screen.

And the Super Bowl of TV is this weekend! The Emmys are on Sunday, and Ray and Amy talk predictions with EW Editor at Large and Emmys expert Lynette Rice. Is Game of Thrones a shoo-in for the top prize? Will we see Rami Malek picking up his first-ever Emmy? And most important, what happens behind the scenes that only people in attendance can witness? So get your ballot ready as Lynette gives us the scoop on TV’s biggest night.

What to Watch is hosted by EW’s Ray Rahman and Amy Wilkinson, and available every Friday morning.
