High Maintenance: How has it changed in its move to HBO?

The hosts of ‘Bingeworthy’ debate the cult series

On the first episode of People/Entertainment Weekly Network’s new series, Bingeworthy, television buffs and hosts Jessica Shaw (EW Radio on SiriusXM) and Touré (MSNBC show The Cycle) disagree over the binge-worthiness of High Maintenance and how the move to HBO has altered the show.

While Touré believes it’s artful, beautiful and one of the greatest shows on television right now, Shaw thinks he’s wrong and that moving the cult show to HBO is to blame since it worked better as a collection of quick hit vignettes on Vimeo.

BingeWorthy is a smart, humorous review of what’s burning up the small screen, from upcoming series and new season premieres to the water-cooler shows of the past week. Each episode, our razor sharp, TV-obsessed hosts Shaw and Touré will duke it out over drinks at a cozy bar in downtown Manhattan. They’ll discuss, debate, and breakdown everything you need to know about the most important shows on television. Acting. Writing. Directing. What’s good? What’s bad? What’s so bad, it’s good? And in the end, they’ll answer the question on every pop-culture fan’s mind: Is it binge worthy?
