Justin Timberlake is picking up what Britney Spears is putting down. Just a few weeks after she said she would love to collaborate with ex-boyfriend and pop superstar Justin Timberlake, the “Can’t Stop the Feeling” singer says he’s down to collaborate.
“She did? Sure! Absolutely, absolutely,” he told E! News’ Marc Malkin when asked if he had heard Spears wanted to work together. “I have a 17-month-old so I don’t get the headline news. I apologize for not being in the know… I’m accessible, give us a call!”
Ahead of the VMAs, Spears participated in a Q&A and when she was asked who she wanted to work with she said, “I would love to work with… Aerosmith seems really good and bright. He’s a genius, I think, and he’s very rock ‘n’ roll and he sings from his soul. Gwen Stefani, I think she’s great. Justin Timberlake is very good.”
Spears and Timberlake dated publicly from 1999-2000. Spears most recently dropped her ninth album, Glory, and Timberlake’s Trolls track, “Can’t Stop the Feeling,” topped the Billboard charts all summer.
